Couple of photos of Berlin Marathon JogScotland participants in Events Gallery.

After seven and a half years Jim Dobbie has decided it is time to pass on the role of coach coordinator of JogScotland Strathclyde Park. He was one of the original co-founders for the strathclyde park jogscotlandgroup which, in the space of a few years, went from a handful to hundreds of members. He has been an inspiration to coaches and joggers in that time and we will miss his vast experience and charismatic personality. Jim has been an active runner for nearly 30 years competing in various races from cross country, 5k,10k,half marathon and has completed numerous marathons, the latest 3 months ago. Jim has put a great deal back into running through his many years as a coach  and has reached 3 UKA endurance level ( 10k/Marathon). In the latest Stride magazine Jim recounts, through the perspective of the Berlin Marathon, not only what running means to him but the obvious pleasure he gains from seeing others achieving their goals. He praises the JogScotland network for its role but he is modestly underplaying his own role in this and to many Lanarkshire "JogScotties" Jim will always be Mr. JogScotland.
